Paul Kavadas B. E co
Managing Director  

Paul Kavadas established Universal Finance in 1990. He has been providing assistance to customers seeking commercial and residential lending. Through Universal Finance he has gained a clientele base of over 3000 clients. Paul holds a Finance Broker Licence issued by the Commercial Tribunal of New South Wales.  

Paul began his career in 1987. Graduated from University of New England with a Bachelor of Economics degree.  He commenced his career as a lending officer under the graduate scheme with Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Westpac Bank.


Sean O’Brien
Finance Consultant  

Sean has over 28 years experience in Banking and Finance, the first 17 years with National Australia Bank. He has gained a wide range of banking experience from Credit Manager to Business Banking Manager.  He commenced his career at Universal Finance in 1998, specialising in both commercial and residential lending. 


Peter George B. Com
Commercial Manager  

In 1984 Peter graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. After which he worked over a 7 year period with various banking institutions. He commenced his career with ANZ Bank and progressed into Corporate Banking. Then he joined Universal Finance in 1991 specialising in equipment and motor vehicle finance. Peter also handles clients commercial and residential lending requirements.


Peter Gotsis
Business Development Manager  

Peter has over 15 years experience in Business and Commercial lending, both in Business Banking for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and in his previous position held with ING Commercial Property Finance, whereby he was involved in large scale finance transactions of up-to $100m. Peter commenced with Universal Finance in 2006 and is available to assist you with transactions of a complex nature. Peter’s specialty is negotiating with a financier a security structure, rates, terms and conditions that benefits our customers.


Angelo Markantonatos B.A

Angelo has over 12 years Retail and Commercial banking experience, gained with the likes of ANZ Bank, Lloyds Bank, ABN AMRO and Deutsche Bank. He has experience in a number of banking roles including securities, credit analysis, risk management and equities. He has also spent a number of years as a Mortgage Broker with Mortgage Choice. Having joined Universal Finance in July 2009, Angelo is available to assist clients with all their residential lending requirements.
